My name is Bri Reddick, aka The Period Writer and your favorite Leo. To me, menstruation is an educational starting point that leads to larger conversations about sex, gender, and autonomy. I believe that if we teach young menstruators to feel shame from their period, we are furthering the narrative that their bodies do not belong to them. This website is meant to document my journey as a woman of color navigating the period space. I am still learning, still growing, and still healing.
